365 days of Crockpot usage!

Like post other recent posters, I found this through the LJ spotlight!

For others looking for recipes, I've been following the blog of a lady who made a goal last year to use her crockpot EVERY SINGLE DAY! I've tried a bunch of her recipes and they've all been good! Other readers comment with feedback for recipes too.

If anyone is interested:

It's a great one; I've used a lot of those recipes and had a lot of success.

Same here! I love how she gives honest feedback too and says what she liked or didn't like about a specific recipe. Other comments from readers given additional recipe suggestions/changes too. :)

Any favorites from there?

The apple cobbler is fantastic.

The banana pudding is just nasty.

*Thank* you! I recently bought one of those recipe books you find in the checkout line at the grocery store for crock pots (put out by the crock pot company) and have been trying the recipes. So far they have been mostly disappointing. It's nice to have a resource of crock pot recipes that have been tried and reviewed.

You have to not be impatient and try to eat it while it's still warm. Doesn't work.

The yoghurt recipe from that blog has been pretty popular here the last couple of months. A bunch of people made it with sucess and have recommended it.

I did the Rotisserie-Style Chicken just the other day...
I skinned the whole chicken, etc., as she recommended and IT WAS AWESOME!!!
I didn't have all the spices she used, but what I used worked just dandy by me! I recommend!

Pho soup!
I'm trying it tonight, with a few adjustments.
It sounds delicious, and I couldn't resist!
It's pretty close to traditional, except she uses beef stock.
(traditionally, you're supposed to boil bones, clarify, and then use that as the stock, but I'm cheating too and bought vietnamese pho soup stock bua ha!)
