Raspberry Meatballs

Tonite was our movie night and, rather than order out or make chicken as we are wont to do, I decided to make the bag of meatballs that were in the freezer. However, plain ordinary meatballs are not really our style at this point, and I can't eat grape jelly (which is what just about every sweet and sour recipe I found called for, with the occasional apple). So I kinda adapted the recipe I found online (I can't remember the website and am on a different computer) and it was surprisingly good.

1-1.5 cups raspberry jelly
1 jar cocktail sauce
1 can pineapple chunks with juice
meatballs (I used about 30-40 precooked frozen ones)
garlic powder

Put meatballs in crockpot. Add jelly, cocktail sauce and pineapples. Stir together. Add garlic powder to taste. Cook on high for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.

What size jar of cocktail sauce?

I think it was a 12 oz jar. Just the regular size. I went to double check and my roommate had already taken the trash out to the curb lol.

i've made variations on this using canned pineapple and el pato. also, leftover cranberry sauce from holiday meals and el pato. both really good!

I do a similar meatball recipe with a jar of spaghetti sauce and a can of cranberry sauce. SO GOOD.

I hate grape jelly, so this sounds great :)
