Pineapple Upside Down Cake

I just made this yesterday and it's the first time that my attempt at a pineapple upside down cake turned out correctly.  The recipe came from Fix-It and Forget-It Recipes for Entertaining.

Peach or Pineapple Upside Down Cake

1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1 medium-sized can pineapple slices, drained, reserving juice
6-8 maraschino cherries
1 box yellow cake mix

1.  Combine butter and brown sugar.  Spread over bottom of well greased cooker.
2.  Add pineapple slices and place cherries in the center of each one. (I could only fit four slices with four cherries on the bottom of my 4 quart oval-shaped cooker)
3.  Prepare cake according to package directions, using pineapple juice for part of liquid.  Spoon cake batter into cooker over top fruit.
4.  Cover cooker with two tea towels and then with its own lid.  Cook on high for one hour and then on low 3-4 hours.
5.  Allow cake to cool for ten minutes.  Then run knife around edge and invert cake onto large platter.

Wow! That sounds great! Wonder if I could get it to work with my big crock? does your recipe give any instructions for different sizes??

It didn't specify for different sizes.

I was headed the other direction - would the cooking time change for a smaller crock?

I started crock-pot cooking a year ago and only have had one crock, so I don't know.
