Precooked ribs

If I put pre-cooked ribs in the crockpot, do you think that they'd get soft?

EDIT: Safeway has fully cooked ribs, but I want to make them soft.

Absolutely. Just get them evenly brown, then throw then into the pot for half a day or so.

If they're pre-cooked, I'm thinking that long would turn them to mush. I'm guessing that the OP means fully pre-cooked, possibly overcooked and dried out? More information would be helpful.

If they're fully cooked, I'd suggest maybe three or four hours on high, possibly with BBQ sauce or a splash of water or stock to help add some moisture to them if they've been overcooked.

I'm with you on that. My initial assumption was that the OP was going to do her own pre-cooking, hence my comment on getting them evenly brown. And definitely water or sauce. Dry would simply get you a hot crockpot.

I would be worried about them burning.
